Worksite Leaders

As front-line leaders at the worksite, SEIU stewards are required to wear many hats. They are problem solvers, educators, and communicators. And, most importantly, they are organizers.

The Stewards Book outlines stewards' various duties and responsibilities in the workplace. Chapters range from "Dealing with Management" to “The Steward as Political Activist." The book also provides a handy checklist of things stewards need to know, have, and do.

The entire book is posted online - use the links below.  To buy a hard copy, contact SEIU's Fullfillment Center at 202-730-7872, or e-mail mailroom@seiu.org.
