U.S. labor law gives you the right to organize a union!

You are protected by the National Labor Relations Act.

Management cannot:
  • Fire, discipline, reduce hours, or punish staff
  • Make threats or promise bribes
  • Ask you about your feelings about the union or about union activities

You can:
  • Join or help to form a union
  • Talk about the union at work, just as you would talk about any other subject
  • Meet about the union in small groups at lunchtime or on breaks, on company property
