Across the country, our neighbors and union siblings are being attacked and terrorized by the federal government and ICE. In order to build a strong labor movement, we must make connections across our organizing work and stand together against injustice.

Community Resources & Trainings
- Interested in receiving SEIU 509 solidarity action alerts? Fill out the form here!
- LUCE is a statewide network that protects our communities against ICE by verifying ICE sightings, sharing accurate information about ICE activity with communities, and supporting community members in exercising our rights.
- Save the LUCE Hotline number: 617-370-5023. Call the hotline if you suspect ICE or other federal agent activity in your community!
- Become a LUCE Hotline Operator, fielding calls regarding possible ICE activity. NOTE: LUCE hotline operators must be bilingual.
- Become a LUCE verifier, verifying hotline alerts about possible ICE activity.
Legislative action
SEIU 509 is a coalition member of the Protect Massachusetts Communities (PMC). Contact your state legislators here and urge them to pass the following guardrails to limit our state’s participation with immigration enforcement:
- Ensure the police force do not assist ICE, formally or informally
- Ensure police officers do not function as ICE agents
- Fund legal help to fight against deportations
