| Late last week, the GIC Board moved to table the vote on proposed cuts and cost shifting to the GIC, stating that they need more time to study the impact of the proposal. While this is a temporary delay, it is progress that would not have been possible without members like you. SEIU 509 members moved quickly to apply pressure to the Board and reach out to their legislators. So far, 80 legislators signed onto a letter to Governor Healey, and we’re continuing to push for others to join them. If you haven’t yet taken action, please click here to send a message today.
