Historically, student movements have been catalysts for social change, transforming our society through bold action and organizing. When university administrations suppress protests, they undermine the foundation of our democracy and silence the voices of those fighting for a better future.
Campuses should not be a place where students and workers fear repression and intimidation. We stand firmly in solidarity with students exercising their right to protest at universities here in Boston and across the country. We stand against racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, and hatred in all its forms.
